About us

Students Islamic Organisation of India (SIO) is an ideological organization working in the country since its inception on 19th October 1982 for the social progress and development of the students’ fraternity.



SIO Aims

SIO finds itself committed to impart genuine knowledge and awareness to students and getting them ready to become torch bearers of morality and ethics to fight against evils by reinforcing their own life.



SIO Works

All the above mentioned aims are striven for only within the limits of morality and constructive, peaceful manner. The organization abstains from anything that is contrary to truth and honesty

A medical doctor by profession, graduated MBBS from Osmania Medical College, and currently pursuing MD at the same prestigious institution. He has been engaged with SIO since his school days and was awarded with the Membership of SIO in 2008. His interests include writing on Islam and socio-educational issues and has served as the Editor of two students magazine for about five years. Currently he’s serving as the State President of SIO Telangana for the second consecutive term.

Mohd Qayamuddin is a graduate in Mechanical Engineering from Osmania University.

Qayamuddin has been associated with SIO since 2011 and has delivered various responsibilities of Campus president of MJCET chapter, Division secretary for expansion and consolidation of student activism and also served as General secretary, SIO Hyderabad.
